The Inspiration Behind Baby Organica

I felt the calling over the past two years. The innate desire, the unyielding pull towards something good and purposeful. And that
is how Baby Organica was born.

I started getting into “Organics” after I took an intensive two day seminar highlighting organic versus conventional practice in  horticulture. Human health implications, toxins and chemicals,
eating habits and nutrition were also discussed. It was a mind
blowing experience for me. This newfound information catapulted
me into a major life course change.

The eating habits of my family are completely different now. We have eliminated a substantial amount of chemicals, hormones, preservatives and artificial ingredients from our diet. We supplement with probiotics, natural enzymes, hso’s and quality vitamins and minerals. My families health has improved dramatically, especially my three young children. I also made some changes with the cleaning products I use in my home. I try to use environmentally friendly, biodegradable items wherever possible. I don’t use harsh chemicals anymore, relying mostly on plant based products. These changes were challenging, doable and extremely rewarding.

I was appalled after reading about conventional cotton growing practices used extensively around the globe. Statistically, of all insecticides used universally each year, the amount used
on cotton alone equals 25%! Cotton ranks second as the most pesticide laden crop grown
today. In the United States, it takes approximately 1/3 of a pound of poisonous, carcinogenic pesticides and herbicides to grow enough conventional cotton to produce just ONE t-shirt. Consequently, these vast amounts of toxins which include synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and soil additives destroy beneficial microbial populations in soil, contaminate
drinking water, kill wildlife and basically wreak havoc on people’s health. According to the USDA, 84 MILLION pounds of pesticides and over 2 BILLION pounds of synthetic fertilizer was applied to US soil in 2000. Thus, the motivation to find quality organic clothing began.

Following suit, I began looking for personal products such as soaps and shampoos that didn’t contain an arsenal of harmful, unhealthy chemicals.

I am still  enthusiastically  searching  for new, pure,  natural  products
that you can feel good about purchasing.  Please join our mailing list
so that I might keep you updated on new items and interesting news in the organic world. Everything that I sell, my family personally uses, including my children. Some of these items were so wonderful,  I wanted  to share them. I also wanted  to share  my  experiences with
other people interested in living a healthier, happier, more prosperous life. Life is joy. Part of that joy is taking the best care possible of your family and yourself!
